- A benefit performance to fund the burial of a Norwegian nurse, Miss Joran Letmolee, will be given on the lawn of the Lake Shore Sanitarium on the evening of Aug. 3. Due to a fire accident in Irving Park on June 21st, Miss Joran Letmolee was fatally burned while attending a patient. She died on July 5th. The program is being sponsored by the management of the sanitarium along with Mr. W. L. Thomas and Miss Edna C. Thomas at whose home the accident occured. The program includes The Winona Ladies' quartet, Miss Dolly Paden accompanied by Miss Catharine Paden, The Winnefred Townsend Concert Company, The Craven Quartet, and a comedy sketch put on by the College Theater Stock company.
