Funeral Services for Harold Lynch Held on Saturday [heading] Funeral services for Harold P. Lynch, 1241 Greenwood avenue, who was killed in an automobile accident at Bryn Mawr and Nagle avenues, Chicago, on Wednesday night, July 24, were held last Saturday afternoon at his late residence. The services were conducted by the Rev. Amos Thornburg, pastor of the Wilmette Parish Methodist church. Burial took place at Memorial Park cemetery. Mr. Lynch, who was 49 years old, was in the real estate business. He owned the Bryn Mawr hotel at Bryn Mawr and Winthrop avenues, Chicago, and other hotel and apartment buildings. He moved to Wilmette about four years ago from Chicago. At the time of the accident which resulted in Mr. Lynch's death, Mr. Lynch was riding in a car driven by Otto J. Linder, 6034 N. Hermitage avenue, Chicago. Carlton P. Murray, 5530 Winthrop avenue, Chicago, also was a passenger in the car. Both Linder and Murray, as well as Carl Muth, 29 years old, of Riverside, driver of the other car involved in the accident, were injured and were treated at the Swedish Covenant hospital. Surviving Mr. Lynch are his widow, Mrs. Lottie Lynch, two daughters, Dorothy Sutherland Lynch of Wilmette and Mrs. Marjorie M. Jensen of Oak Park, a sister, Mrs. Joseph W. McCarthy of Chicago, and a brother, Raymond Lynch, also of Chicago.
